What does she mean by systemic yeast?

Yeast can only be invasive in immunocompromised individuals. It can only
cause disease on mucosal surfaces, and again, usually because the person is
immunocompromised. I've taken care of adults with HIV and children getting
chemo who have had yeast in the esophagus. And I took care of a girl after a
bone marrow translplant who died of pulmonary invasive yeast. Is this woman
otherwise healthy?
