Long time - no post. I've been off line for awhile and missed my daily
dose of Lactnet.

Been working with a mom for about 2 weeks now. She reports that the
left nipple had been inverted. Pumping and nursing brought the nipple
out. Now the newly exposed skin is very "raw" and the pain is getting
worse.

Mom is really dedicated but is experiencing excrutiating pain on
that side only. She is taking pain meds, had tried air drying, then
tried Lansinoh. I currently suggested that she take a 24 hour break on
that side only and try hydrogel. We have had several discussions about
thrush and don't think it's a factor.

What ideas do y'all have for helping to "season" this newly exposed
tissue?

TIA for your suggestions!
