Ann, I am sorry have left, and choose not to  stay with us and weather our
storms...here on Lactnet. Sometimes, there are strong feelings posted, that
may be rants, or negativity, and we try, as listowners, to encourage people
to discuss things in terms of evidence, and to not take things personally
if we see our own shortcomings in some note, or if we feel tweaked.

I hear that you are really angry, and I understand it. I also invite you to
go beyond that, to see the truth in any note, and to stay and discuss
things in a way that makes people understand your side of things, and the
reasoning behind your thoughts and feelings, etc. Discussing things in a
non-personal way can help us go beyond.

There is no excuse for people being personal with their notes, but you can
help them by staying, rather than leaving  If you wish to stick with us,
please feel free to rejoin, and we would welcome your input.

Everyone has good intentions,  ....they fervently want mothers and babies
to have the opportunity to breastfeed....and to remove obstacles.. If you
wish to rejoin, please feel welcome.  Help us understand the basis of your
own practice, and the practice of those you work with who would be
resistant to breastfeeding evidence...and who would themselves have
pre-conceived notions and prejudices about breastfeeding professionals. In
order to move on, we all need to get beyond the personal, and into the
evidence.
