This raised a question in my mind, do others think/find/have opinions on the
scenario possibilities, that it is preferable to have baby getting AIM by
syringe, vs EBM/colostrum by bottle? I am interested in professional and
personal opinions about how choices are made, and whether others feel most
moms can handle the work that goes into pumping AND alternative feeding, (
especially in the absence of a perdiatrician who values/is knowleldgeable
about, breastfeeding )how decisions are made as to what is the priority, the
human milk, now, or the ability to feed at breast later...etc... I know that
situations are often complex, and that hospitals as well as LCs differ on
their approach to reaching the final goal, feeding at breast... just
wondering...
