Hi All,

I have read through the archives and was unable to find the info I am
looking for. The client I am working with who has the very large breasts
and had twins 9 days ago has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's - but does not
take medication for it. She reports that she gets tested every year and her
thyroid levels are 'normal'.

My question: Can Hashimoto's impact the milk supply to the point that there
isn't one? Is it safe to take domperidone if her prolactin levels are low?
Does she need meds?? She will be getting blood drawn on Monday for thyroid
levels as well as prolactin. Does Hashimoto's affect the
hypothalamus/pituitary to the point of affecting the amount of prolactin?

Parents (and I) really want info to help explain why mom has only drops of
milk.and those are lessening each day.

Thanks.
