My question is primarily for hospital LC's.  Do you know of any hospitals
that require a physician's order to supplement a breastfed baby with
formula.  That has come up as a possible policy here.  Many nurses do not
believe that formula can be a harmful substance. Also, does anyone know if
there are legal cases in which a parent has sued over a baby being
supplemented without consent.
thanks for any input.

Judi Hall, RNC, IBCLC
