I can't believe what just was reported on my local news station!!
Oh my God!  It was awful!  What a setback, IMHO.
Ok, they start off by saying that breastmilk is best and that there is a
magical ingredient in it that makes babies smarter.  Well, guess what?  This
magical ingredient (that IS what they called it!) is called DHA.  Scientists
have now found a way to make DHA and will be adding it to ABM soon.  While it
is available in other parts of the world, the FDA is still looking at studies
to see how safe it is.  So, as soon as it is added to ABM here in the states,
ABM fed babies will (supposedly) have IQ's like breastfed babies.
AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!  Why do they believe this #$%@?  Do they not realize that
DHA from breastmilk and DHA that is synthetically made or taken from some
other critter and added to ABM, IS NOT THE SAME???? Yes I am yelling!
Well, they did at least include an 800 # for us to call for more info.  Here
