Looked back to Adelle Davis (1954) who rec Brewer's yeast, but says to be
careful with raw baker's yeast.
Wm. Crook (1985) The Yeast Connection who rec. decreased amounts of sugar
and decreased amounts of dietary yeast in diet.
Baumslaug & Michels (1992) don't specifically say much about dietary yeast,
however they discuss immune system and nutritional diet in general.
I wonder if our national(USA) overuse of antibiotics in general
contributes to the decreased resistance in our immune systems. We know
that yeast is an opportunistic dx. Is yeast a major problem in
non-anglicalized countries where antibiotics aren't used so freely or have
we exported that too? Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
