Carol B threatens severe repercussion to 'every
single person who teaches a mother to "help" her baby to latch on by pulling
down vigorously on the baby's chin, and forcing the baby's mouth open with a
finger.'

Yes - I occasionally meet mothers here who have had this done to them by
midwives...I don't think I can think of a single instance where it has
benefitted the mother, baby or bf. Just *where* did this brilliant (NOT)
idea come from? *Who* thought of it?

It's another instance of fragmentation of care - the people giving the
advice and 'help' may never see the mother again, or at best, they see her
for a day or so....not realising the long-term effect of their
interventions.
