I had a mouthfull of silver/mercury fillings entirely replaced once when
I 22 years old before the use of waterspray while drilling and before
the use of rubber dams.

This past year I had all that second generation of amalgams replaced in
all four quadrants of my mouth. My naturopathic physician offered
chelation afterwards. I decided for a single shot of DMPS to extract
body load of mercury.

The interesting effect were the uterine cramps for about four days after
the chelation. I am positive it was chelating mercury out of my
uterus.

There was a study of mercury transfer from adult sheep to the fetus and
newborn ewes. It was proved that it primarily concentrated in kidney
and liver in the mother and liver and pituitary in the fetus. So it
does go
to target organs.

Sweden has determined from this study that pregnant women should not
have any amalgam work disturbed or repaired during gestation.
