Another hint to add the list:
  Carry baby in sling in such a way that baby can't see the caregiver/bottle-
giver's face.  It helps a lot if the caregiver is already very comfortable
using a sling, too.  This helped me to feed a *bottle-feeding* baby who did
*not* like to take bottles from anyone but her Mommy!  I have put lots of
other people's babies to sleep in the sling without feeding them, also,
because using the sling is like second nature to me.
  I also have been asked if breastfeeding is causing baby (at six weeks) to
have a harder time with transition from sole breastfeeding to mixed
breast/bottle feeding (and also asked "wouldn't it be better to wean
completely so baby has an easier time"?).  My measured response is that babies
need time to adjust to "other-care" when they have spent the past six weeks
with "mother-care", and this transition can be a challenge regardless of
feeding method.
