Someone on another BF-related list posted that a Chicago newspaper ran an
article discussing what is considered abuse by the local authorities. The
article showed a grid of what "DCFS" looked for in determining whether
there should be an investigation. At the bottome of the grid, there was
a list of conditions that the authorities did not normally look for, but
had prompted investigations. Apparently they included (I'm quoting from
the post).

                        " * Loud quarrels between parents
                          * Sexual play by children
                          * Genital discharge of young children
                          * Breastfeeding of children over 3 years of age
                          * Extended sharing of bed with parents""

I thought I would share this, since there was a recent discussion on this
topic. The poster gave me the website for the article, but I'm someone
who doesn't have web access.
