Dear Lactnetters,
   One of our Peds staff docs told me in the hallway the other day he
wants only the docs to mention the option of frenotomy to parents.    I
feel this would be unethical and withholding information from
parents........they should have the freedom to seek the procedure
elsewhere if their pedi won't/can't do it.
    How do you all feel about this?   I intend to contact my hospital's
ethics committee soon.
