Hi Norma,

I had a WIC mother with a baby with chylothorax and she did a type of skimming procedure instead of a centrifuge. She would let the milk sit in the refrigerator for a period of time, maybe 8 hr, and then use a syringe to remove the milk below the fat layer, then she would repeat the process. I have her permission to email you privately with her email address so that you contact her and get the details on the procedure.
