Kate, I jump for joy when I see statements like this!  The formula companies
are recognizing that children need special nutrition -- not cows' milk --
until they are four years old!  For women who are breastfeeding older
children, this is support for their behavior, as no one in the scientific or
formula community will claim that formula is *better* for children than
their own mother's milk.  In an indirect way, the formula companies are
supporting extended breastfeeding.
