I would suggest you go by the manufacturer's guidelines and also check 
the Human Milk Banking Association of North America for milk storage and 
cleaning guidelines. I assume the HMBANA has cleaning guidelines. I know 
the collection kits say how to clean them in the instruction sheets. 
Also, the Pumping for your Premature Baby two page handout with photos 
from Barbara Wilson Clay is excellent and shows how to clean both the 
kit and the pump.
