Jeanette,
I don't know of anything but should you choose to write something I would be
happy to provide some assistance.
The following is a snippet out of a submission to a govt inquiry that I am
working on that I thought might be helpful.

"I would like to suggest that emergency preparedness materials for seasonal
emergencies might contain a sentence along the lines of "Mothers who are
breastfeeding and are considering weaning may wish to delay weaning until
after the cyclone/bushfire season because of the increased risks associated
with the use of infant formula when power and water supplies are disrupted"
and more generalised emergency preparedness documents contain information so
that those who are interested in preparing for a pandemic are made aware of
the risk that formula fed babies are placed at and breastfeeding endorsed as
providing food security for infants. Babies who are formula fed are at risk
because (amongst other things) food security is an issue.

Subject: Emergency information for PARENTS

> Do you know of any materials prepared for parents? I have lots of
information on our MCAH website for health care providers and for emergency
preparedness staff
(http://www.mch.dhs.ca.gov/programs/bfp/emergency-prep.htm), which includes
a 48 page document about Infant Feeding in Emergencies A guide for Mothers
(http://www.euro.who.int/document/e56303.pdf)
> However, our county is planning on doing an outreach to the community
and would like to include a SMALL handout on emergency preparedness for
infants and young child feeding. Do you know of any?
