"I often encourage moms who are pumping to cover the bottles either
with their shirt or a light blanket so that they're not focused on how much
is (or isn't) in the bottles."

One of the best pieces of pumping advice I ever got, I think, was from the mother of a 6 month gestation baby who went on to become a LLL Leader:  "Put in your time with the pump and don't worry about the amount.  It's *going* to vary from one time to the next, and you'll just drive yourself nuts trying to figure out why."
