The only reason I can think of for this being a problem is if the studio is
hygenically a problem. Your friend needs to be sure all non-disposable items
used by the artist have been autoclaved and that everything else is
disposable.

I have an interest in body art and recently got a tattoo...my 2 1/2 year old
is still nursing, and my only concern was that the artist was following
proper protocol with regards to cleanliness.....just like I would be
concerned if I went into the Drs office and it was not clean.
