My name is Shirley MacKinley and I am involved with a support group for
nursing mothers called Mommy Best.  We are a La Leche League Breastfeeding
Resource Centre and have a close relationship with Public Health.  We offer
telephone counselling, home visits, monthly meetings, a library of books,
magazines and videos, and lactation equipment to all nursing or expectant
Moms.  We also try to raise awareness and acceptance in our area.

I have two children who I nursed/am nursing, a boy, four, and a girl, two
and a half.

I am very excited about joining LACTNET, which I heard about from a Pen Pal.
