Thanks for everyone's input.  After speaking with the mom again this evening,
she feels it is most likely a physical response to the hormones.  She has no
whiplash injury and is drinking roughly 2 quarts of pure water a day.  She is
hopeful that the headaches will pass in time.  They don't seem too bad.
