Hi Lactnetters,
I thought Laura Wright, in her recent message, used a highly appropriate verb in association with ABMs. That verb was "administer". Let's use it! Talking about "feeding" a baby on ABM gives the nice warm impression of a suitable food. "Administering" ABM to a baby removes this connotation, and suggests an abnormal state, or clinical situation, as in administering a drug. Love it, Laura!
               Cheers,
                     Virginia
