Laurie,

As a former domperidone user, it continues to amaze me how roadblocks to
domperidone use in the U.S. come up again and again. I appreciate Nancy
Wight's December 2008 summary
http://www.breastfeeding.org/articles/domperidone.html of what's been going
on so far with domperidone in the U.S., as well as the information at
lowmilksupply.org http://www.lowmilksupply.org/domperidone-safe.shtml ,
including how to get your hands on some domperidone
http://www.lowmilksupply.org/domperidone-obtain.shtml by phone, internet,
and even a (dwindling, I'm afraid) few compounding pharmacies in Texas.

Subject: Domperidone

I have been informed by the pharmacist at our local compounding pharmacy
that they can no longer obtain Domperidone. The pharmacist stated that
FDA was blocking the importation of it into the United States. I have
had wonderful results with low milk supply issues for my mothers. No one
wants to use Reglan. What choices are left for mothers with extremely
low milk supply in the United States?
