My suggestion would be to change to a different formula.  Soy is notoriously
constipating.  If the baby did not tolerate cowsmilk, then hydrolyzed
formula would be next on the list to try.  90-95% of MSPI babies will do
well on those.  For the remaining 5-10% who can still tell there is cow in
there, there are the "elemental" formulas", made from individual amino
acids.
