She could try pumping every two hours for no longer than 20 minutes and make sure that she gets five hours uninterrupted rest at night. Also, she might try power pumping ( 10 mins pumping, 10 mins resting) for an hour a day.
Many women cannot 'let down' to a pump. How about having her babys' blanket ( or onesie) close to her so that she can smell it? That has helped many of my patients - our sense of smell is as strong ( or stronger) than our vision.
