I recently had a client who brought in one of the Duos. We tried to make it comfortable, light suction fast pace (like a Symphony) The thing took off, going faster and harder than she wanted and caused a lot of pain. She decided to rent a hospital-grade pump (even the Lactina was more comfortable than this pump). We even tried taking out the "petals" to see if that would be better. It was not. It was loud also. It cannot be billed hospital-grade. Where's the research? And I'm not talking focus groups and opinions. Show me the ultrasounds and the creamatocrits and the long-term supply results.

Subject: pump question

I was talking to one of the people at the Medical Supply store, who supplies
and delivers breast pumps covered by insurance. She said that an Avent
sales rep came in to promote their electric breast pump stating that it was equal
to a hospital grade pump.
I did not think this pump had that strength or capacity. What have others
heard?
