Hi Carrie -
It is not only safe but some practitioners use it to reduce breast engorgement/inflammation.  Upledger used to teach a class called Lymphatic Breast Care.

Subject: Lymphatic drainage safe when breastfeeding?

Hi all, I am working with a mom who was recommended lymphatic drainage to help with carpel tunnel.  Everything I am reading so far makes it seem like it would be safe to do this while breastfeeding, but I wanted to check with the group here--are there risks or safety issues to be considered that I am missing?
Thank you,
Carrie Cohen, MA, MS, IBCLC
