Hello Lactnetters
I have been reading posts for a couple of months now and have learned so
much just by reading. I am an RN with experience in L&D and nursery. For
the past 5 years have been working for a precertification company
coordinating a prenatal screening program. All my contact with my
patients is by phone, and is only during pregnancy. . Do any of you know
of a list (similar to LACTNET) which relates to pregnancy concerns? I
desperately need some peer OB input since I work from home and my 3 year
old doesn't seem to be interested in discussing OB cases!
BTW, just to relate it to bf.. I got a kick out of the "pet names" thread
recently. In our family, our hilarious bf story comes from my
grandfather, who sold candy from a truck in rural Arkansas in the 1940's
thru 60's. More than once a woman would meet him at the truck with a
baby nursing in her arms. The only time he was embarrassed came when a
baby let go and was not interested...his mama said, "Take it, or I'll
give it to the candy man!" :D
TIA for your help
