Sorry to disagree with other experts, especially Dr. Hale, but I do not
think this drug is contraindicated.  It does have a long half life.
However, the staining of the teeth is not an issue.  Tetracyclines
should not be given with milk, because they bind to calcium and are not
absorbed.  This is good for the nursing baby, so that the small amount
in the milk will not get absorbed.  If the drug does not bind to
calcium, it is not an issue for the teeth.
