OK, to answer what I believe the question was...at my hospital we have 0 FTE
(LC, IBCLC whatever) I'm it.  We have 250+ births per month and I work 2 - 3
hours/day 7 days/week because there isn't anybody elso out here.  There were
no lactation services at all prior to that.  To say the least, it's less than
ideal, but my Nurse Manager said that since I started beginning of July she
has seen a much larger # of babies L/O correctly and comfortably when she
makes rounds.  So 1 couplet at a time...
May get fired soon since I put a copy of the Breastmilk vs. Formula
comparison from Cindy Curtis' website in the docs mailbox who asked when are
we going to give this baby some "REAL food."  Just couldn't sit there and
take that outrageous pompous attitude.  He'll probably just round file it and
won't even give me the opportunity to discuss it with him.  Have to see what
happens...
