'Try RPS' is a bit of a Lactnet mantra, and with good reason. The situation
Yvonne describes is crying out for some RPS. With the idea that these
things can not be stated often enough, I include three links to online
pieces by Kermaline J. Cotterman describing the technique. Some also have
drawings or other illustrations.

And, in Swedish:

own hand and that of my teenage son, taken by my son and me for the
Norwegian translation of the article which is not available online.)

Yvonne, would you let us know how it turns out if the mother does try RPS?

Kristiansand, Norway
where I caught myself at work today, being immensely relieved and almost
surprised when two of the babies in my care managed to root, self-latch and
suckle on first attempt after birth - what is happening to me?!
