Hi All,

Even if all the hosptials, WIC, doctor offices in an area were very
BF-knowledgable, (dare we dream?), moms will STILL benefit from contacting
La Leche League. Professionals give help "from the outside" - the objective
view, the dispassionate observer, etc. League puts moms in touch with other
mothers to share the "inside" view - the subjective, emotional, "I've been
there too" experiences. These are two aspects of the same thing, two sides
of the same coin. Having both is truly wonderful. Having great professional
BF care does not eliminate the benefit of mother-to-mother support.
