Kathleen,
What a toughie!  I would also be suspicious of depo provera, but you have
an additional confounding factor: the young age of the mother. I question
also whether she has fully developed all of her breast tissue as she has
barely begun her adolescence; I havent' worked with any mothers this
young, but I do know that this can be an issue for breastfeeding. Anyone
else out there care to camp on?
