For those working in NICU's and using donor milk I am wondering if you are seeing poor weight gain with these babies?
We use donor milk for babies born under 30 weeks/ less than 1500 grams. We will continue to use PDM until the baby reaches 32 weeks if mom is not providing any or enough milk to support baby. We do fortify once at full feeds. However still not seeing good growth.
I am wondering if other facilities are seeing this? How are you fortifying milk if you are seeing adequate growth, how many calories will you fortify to? Are your criteria for using milk similar? Do you stop using PDM sooner?

Thank you for any information.
