Mothers who "need" to use bottles because they "need" to leave their babies

LAWS in their country, not group instructions on bottle-feeding

Dear Friends:
Yes, in an ideal world, this topic wouldn't even need discussion. I
agree with Linda.
However, what do women do now?
I just learned that the big insurer in Delaware (Blue Cross/Blue Shield)
is raising health insurance premiums 21% in 2008 and also eliminating
routine Well Mother/Baby visits. The only women that will be receiving nurse visits
will be those that are high risk. Meanwhile the PA legislature is
considering the drastic act of limiting handgun purchases to ONLY one a month. (I know
those are 2 different states, and that one topic has nothing to do with the
other.........and both facts have entered my consciousness today.)
Doesn't the CEO of an insurance company realize he will take home
another million or two in salary if women breastfed according to the Healthy 2010
goals?
Mothers and babies are at the bottom of the political hierarchy in the
USA.......who will take care of us when we are old if the babies that are born
now have a 1 in 3 chance of developing diabetes (CDC 2000)? Lack of
breastfeeding is the first step to diabetes and obesity.................how
disconnected from the essentials of health and life can a nation get?
    Despairing today........
    warmly,
