Indeed!!!  Thanks Jay -- for reminding us that weight gain patterns can help
identify babies who are at INCREASED RISK of having something wrong.
Patterns like slow weight gain (and others) and are not *direct signs of
pathology*.

And, once *we* understand that, we have another job -- informing women.

I am now working with a group of paediatricians here in the UK, and its on
this last point that I think I am going to become a bit of a broken record.
