You are probably there to provide a resource for the staff
members....Supporting them to  READ the literature just like you had to to
learn, and to foster their developement.  Sound like the case we were
recently discussing (albeit a sweeter taste) about "taking over" the
breastfeeding.  They may actually be coming to you out of deference rather
than lack of desire to perform.  You could try offering the reference, not
the exact answer: try praising them for their interest, encourage them to use
their own common sense.....etc.   LizFlight ...who will also be starting a
new hospital program soon.
