Are the beneficial effects of this enteromammary circulation increased
when breastfeeding occurs at the breast, and decreased when mommies pump
and bottle feed EBM to their babies? I've always thought so.  I think
this is an argument in favor of direct breastfeeding, to be argued to the
moms who say "I'll just pump and feed it to the baby in a bottle."

The best fed babies are breastfed babies!
