Hi all.  I am looking for a lactation consultant in Toledo, Ohio or in the Tiffin, Ohio area.  I am active on a cleft lip and palate support group list and a parent is expecting their second child at the end of September.  They already know the baby will have a cleft lip and are not sure about the palate involvement as it is hard to detect by sono.  The mom breastfed her first child over a year, so I'd like to set up someone to come assess her latch and milk transfer after the baby arrives.

I specialize in feeding babies with cleft lip and/or palate and have a daughter who was born with this birth defect, as well, but can't help her from Texas.  If you can email me off the list, it would be very helpful for this mom.
