Glamour:

I take issue with the tone of the June article "The Truth about
Breast-feeding" by Julia Glass, and especially with the comment "... not
fair for the AAP or anyone else to expect that all women can essentially
turn themselves into cows for 12 months."

How insulting!  Obviously, Ms. Glass has never nursed an older infant or
child.  I have and felt like a normal, human mother.  What does she
suggest, using standard infant formula instead? It's made of cow's milk!
Scary for me to think of all those bovine particles being incorporated
into the rapidly growing, multiplying cells of babies.  Human milk for my
human babies any day!
