The subject of animals and feeding reminds me of a question that recently
crossed my mind.

Does anyone know if animals, especially the young of dairy animals and
others with ready formed teats, are ever born tongue-tied? If so, it makes
me wonder how it affects their survival. Or is the ready-formed teat a
built-in benefit??

If anyone knows any on-line sites where I could peruse any animal anatomy,
especially mouths and mammary glands, I'd be curious to explore them.

Jean
