A local pediatric "gastro" (Puerto Rico) does use primadophilus (pediatric acidophilus) with his colic and reflux patients, with great success. He uses 1/4 teaspoon mixed with 1once of breatmilk once a day for 7 days. He told me he has seen a relationship between antibiotic use during pregnancy or C/S and these simptoms (sounds familiar???). It is important that the primadophilus is kept in cold temperature (refrigerator) both in the store, and in the clients home, since is live bacteria culture.

I was skeptical at first at this approach, but I can tell you I've seen major improvements in about 3 days in the clients of this MD. None of his clients end up with lots of medication or mixing solids with breastmilk, which is the approach most commonly used locally by gastro's and pediatricians.
