My list of three for Julie Kissack's pharm student presentation:

1. Human milk and manufactured baby milk are NOT equal/interchangeable
2. Ditto
3. Unless students are personally motivated to become *very*
knowledgable, there are lactation professionals (IBCLCs) to whom they
should refer their bf contacts for anything from answering casual
questions to serious bf complications.

For the drug presentation:
1. Human milk and manufactured baby milk are NOT equal/interchangeable
2. Respect a mother's desire to bf and work with her to find a
medication she can take and continue to breastfeed
3. Understand the risks of substituting manufactured milk for mother's
own when making the decision about using a particular medication.
