Hi all,

It's sssooooo hard to remember that each new parent hasn't always heard the
news that babies need to eat frequently. Last evening - mom has multiple
plugged ducts because she's been trying to keep the baby to a 3-hour schedule
AND she went back to work AND back to aerobics - dad came to get a pump.
Told me (proudly) about this great book about parenting by some guy named
Ezzos. 90 minutes later, he left with a copy of the surgeon general's report
and Breastfeeding-Biocultural Perspectives, and a challenge. If he insists on
keeping his 9-week old son to a 3-hour schedule, then neither he nor his wife
should eat or drink anything except when the baby does, and they must explain
how the baby is supposed to double his weight when the parents are only
maintaining their weight on this pattern.

Think he'll get the message?
