Dr Newman,

The medication that my MS mom is currently on is Solumedrol IV 1 grm/day
x 5 days.

The Dr wants to try her on subcutaneous injections of Copaxone as soon as
he can work out the details between the manufacturer and the military.
Mom states that this medication was just approved in April.

The Dr has also suggested that until the Copaxone is available he might
want to put her on steroids once a month to help her immune system. Mom
doesn't know which steroid or what dosage and delivery would be. She is
seeing him on Sunday because it is the last day of her 5 day burst of
solumedrol and plans to discuss what might have triggered this most
recent relapse. She wonders if it could be due to allergic reaction to
something floating in the air here.

Thanks for your reply and your support. Mom and I both appreciate it.
