Well, I don't have any specific scientific evidence to support my
opinion...but I'd say it's "much ado about nothing".  Let the poor kid
nurse.  Kids aren't stupid--if it caused great pain or bleeding, the kid
wouldn't do it.  It's certainly no worse than a tippy cup.
