I am having anxiety about the time difference and my post limit so this is
one of those 'two for the price of one emails.
Sam wrote about the effect of Health Professionals' breastfeeding
experiences on their breastfeeding management skills and attitudes. There is
a paper on this: Burt S, Whitmore M, Vearncombe D, Dykes F. The development
and delivery of a practice-based breastfeeding education package for general
practitioners in the UK. Maternal and Child Nutrition 2006;2:91-102.
Naomi asked about the study that the newspaper article about a correlation
between mental halth and breastfeeding. That one may not have been
published yet. It is Wendy Oddy's research (one more from downunder!!) I am
planning to email her and find out where it will be published. When I get
my little hands on it, Lactnet will be the first to know!
