Hi Tricia!   A colleague of mine from another hospital says they say "skin to skin q2-3 hrs" and if a feeding happens, then great!  I am trying to teach our staff nurses, and parents,  '8 or more in 24'.7 feedings in 10 hours sounds very good to me, and would expect a long nap for both mom and babe after that. Susan in MNrn ibclc
