progesterone taken  orally is rapidly metabolized and not as bioavailable as that 
taken vaginally  or by injection. If inhibition were a risk, I would wonder why 
all those  mammals eat their placenta.

I wonder if the eating immediately vs. taking it over 2-6 weeks makes a  
difference. Or perhaps the dehydrating removes or concentrates something  
unnaturally?
