I may be touring in England and Ireland with my book, Having Faith:
An Ecologist's Journey to Motherhood, in late March. (Publicists are
still deciding.) If I go--or even if I just conduct media interviews
from here--I am very interested in helping to support and promote the
work of breastfeeding advocates in the UK. Could those of you across
the Atlantic help advise me?

Obviously, I'll be speaking about breast milk contamination but want
to ensure that I firmly embed my conclusions within a
pro-breastfeeding context. Moreover, I want use this opportunity to
encourage breastfeeding in the first place. (six-month Elijah will be
at my own breast wherever I go, so this should help...)

Finally, the marketing and publicity folks in the UK have asked me
for a list of women's groups, environmental groups, midwifery groups,
and lactation groups who might have a special interest in the book.
Also for names of journalists and reporters known to cover
pregnancy/childbirth/environment. All suggestions welcome.

Book is to be released in UK in February.

Please email me privately.
